Wheatgrass for molluscum contagiosum - instructions
Although there can not be a watertight guarantee, our founder and Medical Adviser Dr.Chris Reynolds has had remarkable success treating molluscum contagiosum using his wheatgrass extract-based formulae.Wheatgrass has worked well in most cases and we have increasing numbers of reports and testimonials from parents and therapists alike claiming it to be highly successful. View some of these amazing testimonials here.
The main benefit of the treatment apart from its efficacy is that it is very safe and side effects, such as a little allergic reddening of the skin, are rare. If this does occur, simply stop the treatment for a week then resume with a once or twice daily application.
The aim is to rid the skin of the molluscum pox virus. The way this happens with wheatgrass is not known exactly but is believed to be due to activation of growth factors that stimulate the skin’s immunity which then helps the body rid itself of the virus. This is quite a different approach to the traditional burning, squeezing, freezing and various other “treatment”
modalities used. Our wheatgrass-based products are considerably cheaper than the immuno-suppressant drug imiquimod (Aldara) which is recommended by some doctors for molluscum.
Please don’t expect to see improvement overnight. It will more than likely take four to six weeks to see a definitive change for the better. Responses vary from person to person, so either or both Skin Recovery products used together may be the best option. There is no simple explanation for this.
Directions: Apply a small amount of either wheatgrass cream or spray to the spots twice daily if possible. It is not necessary to cover the surrounding skin. For large affected areas, the spray is much easier to apply, contains twice the volume and is therefore more economical than the wheatgrass cream.
We sincerely hope that wheatgrass helps clear up the molluscum. If it works for you or your child, a brief testimonial sent via the email address below could help many others with this perplexing problem.
Thank you.
